Sharing My Lesson Plans

For some time I've desired to share some of my teaching experiences and to develop learning activities for youngsters. Often when I substitute in the classroom, the teacher will say, "You're welcome to use your own plans," especially when it comes to writing and reading activities. So I've decided to have a number of activities I can use on long and short notice.

I've also begun to work with home schoolers. In one group, I provided follow-up plans for the moms (most of whom didn't have teaching degrees). That way they could follow through with what I'd begun.

Often when I visit a school as a children's author, I have activities connected with my books that the teachers can use for additional lessons.
